Monitor your used tech stacks

Update-Whisperer helps you to keep track of new releases for the softwares you use.

Secure your applications You want your NodeJS application to always run the current NodeJS version and have the latest security patches. We open a Github PR as soon a new version is released. You can run your application test, merge the PR and kick off your CI/CD pipeline. Your application runs on the newest version within minutes.

Stay informed about upcoming betas Tech stacks get more and more complicated. Get informed about the latest beta versions via email so that you can decide whether to use the newest feature XYZ.

Get notified by webhooks You host all your code and CI/CD system on-premise but still want to get notified by new releases? No problem, we can notify you through a webhook.

    How it works

    1. Update-Whisperer checks for new versions

You tell us what dependencies and software you use and we do the rest.

    2. Update-Whisperer notifies you

We notify you through channels of your choice. This can be via email, webhook or by a Github Pull Request (many more to come).

    3. Your turn!

You can now test and build your application with the new software version. All tests are green? Ship it!

    Advantages of using Update-Whisperer

Tool Independence You do not have to host your source code in Github/Gitlab in order to use Update-Whisperer. You can also use it with self-hosting solutions. We only need a way to notify you.

Improve your Application Security Receive notifications when an important dependency (e.g. openssl) has a new release. That way you can make sure to rebuild your software with the newest releases.

Updates for all kinds of software We are able to support software which are not part of package managers, e.g. Databases or Programming Languages
